Don't Speak Your Mind Too Often

12.18.2013

I never dealt well with hypocrisy. I never have, never will. I have too much of a short temper for things like this. For this reason exactly, I do what I preach and preach what I do. Of course, we are all entitled to changing our minds -about any topic, at any moment. Changing is part of life and growth.
We (the people) are often saying that we like to hear to truth. Prefer, in fact, the hard truth than a lie. We say we respect other's opinions, but, usually, we cringe to some harsh truths.
Accepting the "different" is hard for most people. Humans have a tendency of disliking what we can't understand; and a tendency of really disliking that which we don't agree with.
So, I believe we certainly should speak our minds, but maybe not too often.

  1. If I'm asked about something I always tell the truth! Otherwise, I keep my mouth shut..

    1. I do the same, Katerina. :)
But when just speaking your mind in a conversation, in a blog post, etc... One better have a "normal", acceptable and soft opinion, otherwise, it might not be well accepted.

  5. When you (me, anyone) voice your opinion be prepared that not everyone is going to agree with or think the same way. Thank god because if everyone did, we'd never be challenged, never grow and be bored off of our arses. (I disagreed with something you said earlier this week and now I'm addicted to your blog :) )

    1. Wendy, I usually say the same thing: Thank goodness we all think differently! Or it would be a boring, boring world! lol
I'm so glad you're sticking around. :) I'm often harsh, talk too much, speak my mind too often. But I swear I'm a nice person (better in person, actually) lol :)

  6. It's so important to respect other's opinions, even if they're wrong! I totally stay in my own lane 100% of the time, despite the things I see that I disagree with. It's best to just say less and do more.

    1. Absolutely agree, Angel. And it is so very important to respect other's opinions - unfortunately, this acceptance and respect doesn't come easy to everyone.
